Hosted By

Volunteer Alberta with funding provided by The Co-operators and The Government of Alberta

Volunteer Alberta partners with

The Co-operators and the Government of Alberta to offer Executive Directors and board members an exciting Directors and Officers' Liability seminar.

Volunteer Alberta is a provincial organization committed to building the capacity of the nonprofit/voluntary sector by strategically connecting leaders, organizations and networks to ensure Albertans are engaged in creating vibrant and progressive communities. A nonprofit organization, Volunteer Alberta has been working with Alberta communities and volunteer centres for the past 18 years.

The Co-operators, a national insurance company, helps nonprofit/voluntary sector organizations maintain insurability by having their specially trained agents review their risk management practices through Community Guard, a risk management and insurance solution in the nonprofit/voluntary sector.

The Government of Alberta believes in a holistic approach to supporting Alberta's voluntary sector. Nonprofit organizations require funding but they also require the tools and training to effectively run their organizations and better serve their clients.
